Any news article that tells you what the Coronavirus mortality rate is is bunk. Without testing we do NOT know what the mortality rate is in the US or worldwide. But the best evidence is probably S Korea that has tested a large sample of their people. What is the death rate there? .7% – higher than the normal flu and nowhere near the rates that the Bloviating Click bait media is telling us. But logic also tells us that it may even be lower than .7% because it is still a relatively small sample to the total population – and we may find out it approximating the mortality rate of our standard influenza strains. And of course, until we have a vaccine, we apparently only have isolation and limiting gatherings of all sizes to limit the outbreak and deaths caused by this virus. The truth is that even the vaccines we get are less than 50% effective because these viruses mutate and we are always up against a life form – and it IS a life form because it carries genetic material – that has that God given desire to do what all life does – try to survive. So, part of that survival also is the mutation to strains that are milder – after all when the host dies, so does the virus. This panic, this fear is sadly politically driven. It is a presidential election year. This Trump derangement may turn out to be more deadly and dangerous than this virus because of the panic and economic collapse. As I’ve said before, really big money is made when blood is running in the streets. And there is no vaccine for Trump Derangement.
