China apparently has one of the most ferocious meritocracy systems going. China, when it abandoned Maoist communism, and decided it wanted to get rich by making things better and cheaper, put in place a system to find the smartest, most competent people and reward them with good jobs and opportunities. So every Chinese kid, as soon as they start school, is constantly evaluated and tested for who is the smartest. The competition to enter the best colleges is fierce. Contrast this with “progressive,” multi-cultural, multi-ethnic America. America now believes that we are all equally smart, so that there is no need for testing (“it only hurts the feelings of people who don’t test well.”) And since everyone is equally smart, then the jobs requiring smart people should be given to non-whites as a form of reparations for how badly they were treated by the racist whites. (Kamala Harris for president anyone, and Tim Walz for VP?)
BF: not quite right. You forgot the part about stealing US and Western tech IP. About the billion and half people essentially under House arrest and about a billion of them are paid slave wages. About the million plus Uyghurs who are in fact Slaves. But you are correct about how the Dem Party, BLM and DEI have corrupted this country – through the pathetic school systems supported by the Marxist Teacher’s Unions and policies that promoted this garbage. Once upon a time, America correctly feared Communism and took it seriously when Khrushchev said things like “We will bury you!” And a saying attributed to Socialist Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin: “the last capitalist we hang shall be the one who sold us the rope.” The Chinese are hanging us in real time – but with the cheap rope we buy – From Them!
