Lots of back and forth about the “first amendment” and which side values it more than the other. When the illiberal locusts of the left are not justifying the most heinous of speech that “dehumanizes” Trump and conservatives – they’re parroting their love for Democracy – and claiming that every time the Trump administration issues an executive order – it demonstrates how Trump is destroying democracy. Of course when Obama or Biden or Biden’s puppet masters and “autopen” issued an executive order – it was to save democracy. Huh?
Or take the example of the Orwellian California Prop 50 that is called: The Election Rigging Response Act. Can’t make this shit up! Of course, the entire proposition is all about “rigging” the next congressional election for Democrats by responding to the “gerrymandering” Texas is doing. Problem here is that California by the numbers already has 83% of all Congressional House critters though Harris only managed 60% of the vote – so clearly they Dems are doing pretty good with the existing Schwarzenegger “independent” method for redistricting. Of course, Newscum’s real goal is to achieve that perfect score Massachusetts got by having all 9 Congress representatives democrats – though you’d think Republicans would get at least one or two since Trump got over 36% of the vote. Newscum is not his real name but I doubt he has to worry about a “MAGA” attempting to assassinate him because of the insult – and that is the point. I ask – given the heated name calling on both sides – which side has actually pulled the trigger?
The Dems like to hammer the word “Democracy”, but as Charlie Kirk and most Conservatives who have read the Federalist Papers and understand what that word actually meant to the Founders and Framers of the Constitution – it is clear that the Marxist Democrat Party left doesn’t understand or care to understand that we are not a pure “Democracy”. America is Representative Republic.
And the 1st Amendment – freedom of speech, religion and assembly. Not really complicated, right? But it is. Can you yell “fire” in a crowded theater? Is that free speech? Can you repeatedly call your opposition Hitler, fascists, and dehumanize them and then be shocked that one of your unhinged followers pulls out a rifle and attempts to kill Scalise at a Congressional Baseball game, or that your Antifa terrorists are throwing bricks at ICE agents and shooting and killing people at ICE detention facilities, or that there have been two assassination attempts on Trump where a bystander was killed at a rally in Pennsylvania, or the assassin finally succeeded in murdering Charlie Kirk for the sin of speaking freely on College Campuses and converting left wing ideologues to the MAGA movement. Free speech and Democracy are the two most misused and misunderstood terms in America and we can thank our corrupt media, state run schools and colleges for this.
If we were simply a Democracy – we’d elect a POTUS by popular vote and we would not have three co-equal branches of government. We wouldn’t need representatives in this computer age – we could simply log on and vote on anything. How do you think that would turn out? That’s right – mob rule and anarchy.
So, following the great French philosopher Montesquieu – Madison, Hamilton and Jay in their newspaper opinion articles that were compiled into the Federalist Papers – advocated for a divided government of Judiciary, Legislature and Executive department. Hamilton in Federalist 68 also argued for the electoral college – which ultimately makes it the deciding factor in electing a President – not the popular vote. With George W Bush in 2000 and Trump in 2016 – we have two examples where they won the presidency because of the electoral college vote from states – even though they lost the popular vote.
Sadly, the illiberal left has a problem with this Republic as founded. Given the history of ancient Rome and Greece – it was clear to the Founders that pure democracy would end in anarchy, chaos and mob rule. And any thought experiment about using the Internet to decide any issue based on the emotions and propaganda would clearly lead to nothing but chaos.
Free speech – where has it really been abused. Which side’s speech has led to actual violence? Talk show hosts that “dehumanize” – OR – for religious and/or Conservatives who speak on college campuses? In one case, it has been incorrectly argued that CBS and ABC have fired late night comics on TV because they opposed Trump. The overwhelming evidence is that both shows were hemorrhaging money and the networks were quite happy to use the nasty rhetoric argument to justify cancelling both. In the other case, Charlie Kirk was assassinated because he took his conservative views and conversations to College Campuses – and was quite successful in converting left leaning college students toward more Conservative viewpoints – Christianity, benefits of marriage and family, and values that helped elect Donald Trump in 2024. For that sin, he was assassinated.
The reality of course with Kimmel and Colbert is that there were probably both factors at play for their dismissals: their ratings and the fact that they were so full of anti-Trump rhetoric that we were seeing it culminate in Trump assassination attempts and the successful assassination of Charlie Kirk.
The Saul Alinsky radicals have used the sacred rights given us by the Bill of Rights – in particular the First Amendment – against those of us – to paralyze us when we see that freedom abused. Make no mistake – yelling fire in a crowded theater, inciting a riot or an assassination is not free speech – and that is why it is past time to make that distinction.
And true to form – hot off the press – ABC Disney folded to the boycott threats from the Rosey O’Donnell left and puts little Jimmy Kimmel back on the air. There’s Rand Paul and Cruz – correctly dressing down the FCC chairman for chiming in (not his job to used govt to influence this one way or another) – when Kimmel was “indefinitely suspended” – but as you can see – Disney ABC cares more about its woke far left audience than those of us who want those who incite violence and literally influenced assassinations kept from spewing their vile screeds. And yet again this is Alinsky radicals using our sacred rights against us.
Yes, the FCC chairman has no place here in this discussion – UNLESS – he and the legal system can clearly define those words like “yelling fire in a crowded theater” are no longer protected speech. Yes, it is not easy. Yes, the left is better at parsing words and justifying the unjustifiable but there must be a point where a rational civil society makes the distinction from “insult” or “hate speech” to “words that incite violence or assassination”. How many times can Kimmel, Colbert and other political hacks in the media dehumanize Trump (and his associates by) calling him “racist” “Hitler” “King” ” fascist” etc. before we make the connection that those words are what have been inciting the assassination attempts on Trump, Scalise, and now the successful assassination of Charlie Kirk. And it is not just the foul mouthed Kimmel and Colbert who need to pay a price – but those media outlets – the left wing billionaires that fund the rent-a-mobs and riots, and the Media in general that has no problem censoring Republicans and Conservatives – either pro-actively as in Hunter Laptop case with the 51 Democrat deep state stooges that lied that the laptop was Russian disinformation, or more subtly by simply not reporting news that is harmful to the Dems.
CBS and ABC will pay a price by being stuck in the middle of insulting half their audience and losing money and stock price – but what mechanism will stop the illiberal left from successfully using Alinsky tactics of destroying free speech by abusing it to the point of inciting riots and assassinations or actually destroying Democracy by Orwellian rigging elections by calling their master plan for “rigging” the 2026 mid-terms – a “rigging response”? Orwell is having a big laugh and rolling over in his grave. Yes, Trump and some of his associates also insult and name call. I simply ask the question again to find those truly guilty – which side has actually pulled the trigger?
