Not buying it. Not sure if they’re trying to scare us into taking this pandemic and lock down seriously or they’re just covering their butts if the shit hits the fans. The mistake in their logic is using NY as the basis for their projection. Using NY City as the basis of the computer model is absurd. 1. No other city in America is as dense. 2. the mayor and commissioner of health were pushing going out to dinner and taking subways during Chinese New Year that exacerbated the situation. Since there aren’t vaccines or cures YET, mortality rate will be higher than normal flu. But with all this hand washing and hand wringing the joke on all of us is that the overall death rate may actually go down. Auto deaths alone should compensate for the increase in flu and related deaths IMO. Well, suicides will go up, but maybe folks will turn to God and get out of their self-centered selves and look for faith to help them through this. I’m talking to the creator more and I suspect it has done me some good. I suggest it for all good people. I also recommend it especially for egocentric atheists that seem to dominate the Democrat Party and illiberal socialists. As they say, there are no atheists in a bunker in war. Maybe this pandemic will scare some people to look outside of themselves. In any event, I suspect that this computer model will be about as reliable as the computer models that the Climate Change pushers use. I’m still waiting for that hockey stick in rising temperature to happen. As they say in computer science – garbage in garbage out.
