“Whoever, with intent that another person engage in conduct constituting a felony that has as an element the use, attempted use, or threatened use of physical force against property or against the person of another in violation of the laws of the United States, and under circumstances strongly corroborative of that intent, solicits, commands, induces, or otherwise endeavors to persuade such other person to engage in such conduct, shall be imprisoned not more than one-half the maximum term of imprisonment or (notwithstanding section 3571) fined not more than one-half of the maximum fine prescribed for the punishment of the crime solicited, or both; or if the crime solicited is punishable by life imprisonment or death, shall be imprisoned for not more than twenty years.”
Who am I referring to? Politico reporter Josh Gerstein. Headline read: Politico Reporter Fantasizes About Somalis Killing Americans While They Investigate Daycare Fraud

The top legal reporter for Politico.com apparently suggested Tuesday a person can be legally shot for asking questions at the doorsteps of businesses.
“At some point, the amateur effort to knock on doors of home daycares intersects with robust stand-your-ground laws…” Thus, Gerstein was justifying a violent response from these Somali crooks to any journalist knocking on a door to investigate a “daycare”. Hence, the threat was aimed at independent journalist Nick Shirley, who has precipitated a storm in the mainstream media about large-scale fraud and corruption by ethnic Somali business owners in Minnesota.
He stopped short of saying get your gun and shoot the next journalist that investigates your fraudulent use of Federal funds – but stand your ground – is quite clear that it means – if one of those pesky independent journalists knock on your door – pull out your gun – “stand you ground” – to defend yourself. Problem here is that the stand you ground laws are all about responding to death threats – and simply knocking on a door and asking questions is not justification for pulling out a gun shooting some one and justifying it on “stand your ground” laws.
This is a clear threat. This is a clear call to a violent response. And it is clear that nothing will happen to Gerstein other than the response that he is a “sicko”. So, when the first Somali shoots and kills the next journalist who knocks on his door – will Gerstein be tried for inciting violence? Probably not. The Somalis like their Islamist anti-American kin in Palestine will probably pass out candy and shoot rifles in the air to celebrate the day a journalist is killed for knocking on the door of one of their fraudulent day care centers. And there will be more outrage and nasty articles written by really upset Conservatives but no one will be punished. The fundamental lack of courage is why Republicans and Conservatives lose votes from their base. When push comes to shove – there are just too many cowards in the Republican party unable to actually do the right thing to stop this civil war.
