Elon Musk says the United States will not fix its national debt by cutting spending, and that “AI and robots” are the only real way out. Quoted from an “exclusive interview in Axios” (about as far left as you can get) then regurgitated and spit out by Yahoo (another far left propaganda outlet): Musk made the remarks in conversation with biographer Walter Isaacson for a new podcast. He said the DOGE experiment he once led showed the deficit cannot be solved from inside government, because almost no one in authority wants to cut spending. He’s obviously right. We saw what happened when Trump in his Nationalist zeal – confronted the fraudsters with DOGE in the corrupt states of Minnesota and California. Enemies from every side – but mostly the far left has made it impossible for meaningful cuts to that nasty debt that now has interest payments “higher than Military Budget”. Ouch. I can see it now, that second tier beauty not quite the one you’d pick from the bathing suit competition, but the one that can play Mozart flawlessly on the keyboard and answers her interview question to nail the competition: “AI Will Solve Hunger, the Debt and Give us World Peace”!
Obviously just being fiscally responsible doesn’t work in the world of corrupt men and women in government, no matter how well thought out the system is. After all, it still depends on people of virtue and let’s face it, they’re in short supply. Lots of intrenched fraud and takers, so, Musk correctly notes that “If you try to solve the deficit and stop wasteful spending, you make a lot of enemies”.
I side with Musk that AI might be the solution to not just our debt but will save this world from all those nasty things about history – war, hunger, pestilence, Bernie Sanders and AOC, but I have a few suggestions:
AI is making most University degrees that pump out middle managers worthless. And couple that with the insane Marxist politics of Universities that have no clue about how wealth is actually created – double whammy. Time to repurpose Colleges – and most campus buildings and skyscrapers that now house out dated middle managers and non productive tenured PhDs. Yes, time for that left side of the bell curve to forget college and learn a trade. And maybe some folks on the other side might be better off doing the same. To say colleges are rackets is an insult to the Mafia. The Mafia is quite up front about what they’re all about.
Start by paying PK and Kindergarten teachers more than most professors and invert the relative pay scale in the public Education racket. AI if it lives up to its potential for solving most human problems – it’s hardest problem to solve will not be ending world hunger, because it probably will solve most human physical need problems and extending lifespan – it will be how to give this new longer longevity meaning – it will be ending the fraud and laziness of the masses that have no problem taking or stealing other people’s property or “Labor” – the most valuable of properties.
AI will not solve the problem of giving individuals a purpose and meaning – and that seems to come from achievement and work. But, I’m such an optimist – I think AI will help solve that problem as well. But it still won’t make deadbeats work harder or stupid people smarter – but it might hold a relative Utopian future for the rest of us as long as this Utopia rejects the tyranny of the mob – either through mob democracy or theocratic autocracy. But the evidence is that history tends to side with mob rule and theocratic autocracy, laziness and corruption. America’s Representative Republic with individual freedom is the outlier and AI will have its work cut out for itself changing human nature to make the American model the rule instead of the exception.
