Some no name sports writer who will remain nameless since I don’t care who he is, just inferred that Tom Brady is a racist because on Howard Stern’s talk show Brady said that in a locker room “he doesn’t see race” – which means he is “privileged”. Huh? Brady doesn’t see race so he’s privileged? How about the fact that black athletes who reach the professional level are extremely wealthy and admired and treated like demigods, which means that they too are “privileged” way beyond some poor white dude in Crapsville West Va.? Anyone in the military or plays team sports knows exactly what Brady meant. For these race baiters in the media – all they see is race and that in and of itself makes them racist! You see a lot of that from illiberal whites. As MLK preached and I believe most non racists feel this way – “judge a man by the content of their character, not by the color of their skin”. But what really upset me was his last sentence: “But claiming you’re blind to race is to say that you’re indifferent to the experiences of those you claim to be in the same boat with.” What really made me angry is that he calls himself a writer and ended a sentence with a preposition. I really hate that!
