Lewis goes on to explain what many of us who call ourselves God fearing America loving Capitalists think Marx, maybe AOC said the above critique of capitalism. Nope, surprise! This quote came from the leader of the Nazi Party – known in German as “Nationalsozialistische” in English. It means National Socialist. Yes, this comment came from Adolf Hitler – not Marx, not AOC, not Bernie, not any number of left wing hacks made that statement.
I interpret this the same way I interpret how former slaves could become house “negroes” for the Democrat Party simply because the left exchanged one kind of servitude for another. That is, the illiberal left made up of Marxists calling themselves “progressive” have convinced blacks that the party of Lincoln are the bad guys – when history and their actual ideology tell you otherwise. The Democrat Party has always used race and lies to build support. They did it in the south before the Civil War. They are doing it now, turning things upside down by convincing the “oppressed” blacks in America that since their boy LBJ was in office – when the Civil Rights Act was passed – that they are the good guys. (Yes, a higher percentage of GOP voted for the Civil Rights Act than Democrats – but let’s not confuse them with facts) I guess it is just anecdotal but I know that the likes of Fulbright (Clinton’s mentor) and most southern Democrat politicians at the time were stone cold racists. LBJ supposedly said, with this bill (Civil Rights Act) – we’ll have the “expletive” vote for the next 100 years! Appears so!
Yes, it also appears that descendants of slaves have been brainwashed if they think that the modern democrat party is fundamentally different from the one they attribute to the southern democrats during the Civil War. A pity. Their plight hasn’t gotten on the whole much better despite the graft and billions wasted on voting rights programs. Bad schools, promoting CRT and DEI does not actually improve the lot of blacks – but it does make them angry and more compliant. Affirmative action programs, even when they were seemingly justified by twisted logic – don’t work. They don’t lift up most black Americans – but they do guarantee that Democrat politicians will have a solid voting block.
But the crumbs the party throws at Blacks and other “oppressed” groups seems to work for Democrat politicians. It has in NY, IL, CA, WA and most “blue states”. And though any good freedom loving capitalist despises Socialism run amok – as in Nazi Germany, Stalinist Russia, Maoist China – it is actually the Rino Globalist Republicans in Name Only – that are even bigger villains in my not so humble opinion. Perhaps the biggest failure of W/Bill Clinton China policy was allowing China entry into the WTO. Instead of China joining the West, it has become US’s real existential enemy and started a second cold war that is much more insidious than the one that ended when the USSR died. We never had massive trade and dependency on the USSR.
So, the game in many ways is much more difficult. The US has found itself at the mercy of the Chinese in key supply chain products critical for our military – not just our basic economy. Then there’s this nasty mix of stolen Intellectual property and mass production of items that were dumped in the US and EU to put Western companies out of business. Then there’s the use of real slavery (Uyghurs) – and trade deals that gave away the “farm” to China so a few Americans could sell into a billion plus market. It’s a vexing problem, that patriots will have to deal with: not just CCP, but greedy capitalists and politicians of both parties taking bribes. Then there’s occasional spy elected mayor in a California city. A former senator who had a Chinese spy as a driver. And then there’s the infamous congressman with famous Fang Fang – another spy. But of course, he didn’t go down for that – but the fact that he was a serial rapist abuser finally got him – not his treason with a CCP spy. All Democrats by the way – though that’s not to say there aren’t Republicans essentially selling out the country to the Chinese.
Now, our interest on the debt essentially pays for the CCP’s upgrade to their military. It is going to be an interesting couple of decades to see how this all plays out. Right now anti-Semites are on the rise. CCP is on the rise. And EU and West is on the decline. One man and his team stand in their way. The most hated man in the Democrat Marxist party and the real enemies of the West – Iran, China and their mad attack dogs N Korea – the one and only Donald J. Trump. He might save this country despite the RINOs, Dems and its loathsome media. We will see how things work out after the ’28 election. Quite frankly, one or two more Biden like puppets in the Oval and this country will either be in a permanent state of decline or more likely – an all out Civil War – not just the “un-Civil” war that now exists.
