Musk is not my favorite person, but compared to the other billionaires that make the news, this guy’s a saint. Whenever I think of him, I think of his solar panel Company Solar City that I nicknamed “Souless City”. I don’t even like those noiseless battery powered Testla cars. I still like the roar of a V-8. Too frickin’ quiet for my taste. As for Solar City, since it was all about making money and not doing something of real quality, he got all his panels from China. So, like most of the globalist herd, he had no problem dealing the Chinese Communist Devils when he could make big bucks. In effect, his solar company was really nothing more than a financial scam to take advantage of the 30% Investment tax credit on a lease like paper called a “Power Purchase Agreement”. The homeowner or business did not actually own, the panels – his consortium of investors did. This gave us the famous – zero down – where the power generated by the panels would theoretically pay for all or most of the electric bill. Well, it worked some of the time when his poorly trained sales people were not making promises they could keep, and there were much better American made panels and better ways to do this, but in the end this was all about making money – not saving the planet. To his credit – or his relatives who ran that part of his empire – Souless City became the number one solar company in America and for a few years was the darling of the illiberal left.
Where he started to get it right and begin to piss off people in power – pun intended – is when he started building a massive battery plant that now years later finally is taking off. When you can take the power from the sun store it in batteries, charge your car with either the power from the panels during the day or power it during the night with the batteries – you do NOT need much power from the Monopoly power company that everyone else is stuck with. So, you can see that power companies, and perhaps the fossil fuel industry, and to a lesser extent the few remaining nuclear power plants and their owners – are not really happy about this trend. Actually, solar and battery power can essentially put power plants out business – especially in California and Western states like Arizona or Nevada – but as they say, don’t mess with Texas and the oil industry – and don’t piss off the monopoly power companies.
So, Mr. Aftershave has pissed off the right and the left so it is not surprising to me that when he makes a very correct assessment that the continued lock down of businesses by the government is fascistic that he gets pummeled in the illiberal democrat globalist party press.
So, Musk, unlike Gates, Soros, Bloomberg or other Billionaire Globalists who are petty tyrants by nature – Musk understands that this lock down is the Marxist – Globalists’ wet dream – total control over a population through Fear and Intimidation. The reality is that MOST of the lock down WAS UN-necessary and that several studies show that a very large percentage of the population has been exposed or would test positive with little or Zero symptoms. Thus, the mortality rate is in line with other virus or flu – but yes, it is more contagious – and DEADLY to elderly with preexisting conditions. The answer is the Swedish model of NO draconian shut down with only mitigation for the elderly and those with preexisting conditions – NOT everyone. Now even the WHO admits that the Swedish model is the right one. So why aren’t these Governors following their beloved lying Chinese Puppet, Gates, Fauci, CDC loving WHO now? The power – that’s why. And it’s not Solar Power . It is the raw sense of Power that only Petty Tyrants understand. They may be tech nerds like Gates, munchkins with a Napoleon Complex like Bloomberg, or simply evil geniuses like Soros. They simply can’t get enough power over people to satisfy their hunger. As for these pathetic governors – most of them are really ignorant petty pissants who worked their way up the political ladder – some because they have good hair – other’s because of their winning smile – and virtually all aren’t quite pretty enough to be cast in a soap opera. So politics was the next best thing. The science now favors Sweden’s model – not a full lock down. But don’t expect the Dem Press to advocate for it or their Governors to do the right thing and actually follow the science. Destroying the economy is a small price to pay if they can get big bad orange man out of the oval, and put the deplorables in their place. The power is just too intoxicating to these petty tyrants. As for me, I prefer solar power and battery power rather than being dependent on the often sued poorly run, with out of control rate hikes and regular black outs from monopoly power companies. I agree with your assessment that these people are FASCISTS but I’ll pass on the Tesla. I prefer my fossil fuel powered vroom vroom V-8!
