Popovichbergsteinhoffer, coach of the San Antonio Spurs of the mostly Negro Basketball League, has caved to the mob. He’s all in for bending the knee and criticizing big bad orange man. I get it. His players demand obedience. But someday he and other coaches may change their tune. We live in strange times where players run the show and the coaches do what the players tell them to do. We even have tech companies where the brainwashed drones tell their bosses what ideology they approve of and who they can censor. Of course, they approve of the Mob and disapprove of the Rule of Law set forth by evil white men especially those evil Conservatives and Republican deplorables who voted for Donald J. Trump.
What ideas and things are off limits you might ask? You know, documents like the Magna Carta, the Declaration of Independence, the United States Constitution. Verboten. Into the trash heap. We are woke now. We believe in the Green New Deal. In Global Warming even if the temperature on average is dropping. No problem. It’s now called Climate Change and anything on the planet like hurricanes or fires are all man caused. Even if their computer models really suck and the hockey stick never materializes. Never mind. Obey. Besides, that’s another sport altogether.
And then there’s Medicare for all. I call it Mediocre Care for all. That’s what it will really be if they ever try to actually fund it and implement it. And most of all, we are quite OK with anarchists and domestic terrorists as long as they are directing their wrath at the evil white man. To those who bend the knee, we may let them live. Reminds me of a scene from that wonderful show Game of Thrones. After being victorious, the Dragon Queen gave her vanquished the opportunity to bend the knee and she wouldn’t have the dragons incinerate them. A couple of leaders did not bend the knee and they were quickly vaporized by her pet Dragon. Ouch. That must have hurt!
But I digress. When people stop watching and coming to the games because of disrespect to our country’s symbols – the flag – the military – our first responders – especially our police – perhaps he and his players can try that behavior in the land of their puppet masters in Red China. I wonder what the Chicoms would do if these black players took a knee when the Chicoms played their anthem and in front of their flag? Most blacks are treated like 3rd class citizens in China. But not to worry, Nike and the Chicoms will take care of their players – even the black ones – as long as they obey the party line. I get why these coaches do what they do. They get paid millions of dollars and all they have to do is herd giants with brains of mush. And it is much easier these days to fold to the players, the drones, the anarchists than to stand up to them. After all, why do what’s right when bending the knee will prevent the Dragon lady from sicking her dragons on you.
