Tucker is Right about somethings. Almost all of our elected officials are cowards. The Answer to a Mob is not Naming a New Holiday after Them, giving them part of your City, or Tweeting Angry Words – the Answer is FORCE and Law and Order – not Capitulation. The problem with “Democracy” in ancient Rome and Greece was that there were no checks and balances and democracy always eventually degenerated into anarchy and chaos. Hence, why our founders gave us things like the electoral college, three co-equal branches of government, appointment of senators rather than direct election (not just term limits but repealing 17th amendment would improve things), etc. We thought the electoral college saved us from Hillary and four more years of Obama anarchy. We were obviously wrong.
Tucker is wrong about one thing, that Obama would necessarily have done anything differently than Trump. And that is the problem. Tucker must have forgotten that the precedent for capitulation to the mob started with Ferguson and Baltimore. So, expecting Obama to do more than Trump is highly doubtful. But as the average politician has become a tool of big money whether it is corporate, big tech, foreign – they have become cowards. That is what has gotten worse – even under a supposed Conservative Executive Department with a few years of Trump. The Ruling Class of both parties have learned that the masses will pay their taxes, obey the laws, even while their businesses burn and there is no police protection that supposedly was funded by their taxes. And blacks will vote for democrats no matter how many are exterminated by Planned Parenthood, how many of them are ignored until election time.
Thus, Dems essentially only get nervous when the anarchists and domestic terrorists are rioting – which might have a deleterious political outcome to them, and rather than meet force with overwhelming force, their rhetoric and lies about the evil police reinforced by the media and Universities have essentially painted themselves into a corner and they do nothing. The Republican elected officials, too are cowards, and some think that perhaps anarchy will work to their favor in the upcoming election, all while people’s lives and businesses are destroyed. So, Tucker has a point – why the hell are we paying taxes?
