The GOP has 53 senators and if they were as lock step as the Dems, we’d have a slam dunk getting Trump’s nominee to replace RBG. Not to speak ill of the dead, so I’ll start by saying that she seemed to have a nice family and she became a role model for working women. Well, working women who would rather abort their unborn baby than actually have one. OK, so I did not really think very highly of RBG. She was not a good jurist if you judge a judge by their ability to avoid political activism and rule based on the law as written. If it is true that she said on her death bed she didn’t want to be replaced until the new president, then my God, she was all about left wing activism even with her last breath. Pathetic. As much as I like to chat about politics, I’m pretty sure I’ll be wondering about whether or not there’s an after life or if my good deeds outweighed my bad, whether I was going to heaven or the other place. Or if I’d be as witty as WC Fields whose last dying words according to legend was “On the whole I’d rather be in Philadelphia”. But pushing her left wing agenda to the end. Gotta hand it to the old gal. True to her ideals, abortion, baby killing and doing what she could to destroy the evil Patriarchy!
To those weak kneed Republicans who are afraid to actually support Trump’s choice, who Swami has predicted will be a conservative female with several children. I can hear her now being grilled on the abortion litmus test by bloodthirsty evil Dems like Chuckie Cheese Shoe-mer – “…and would you vote to dismantle Roe v Wade?” – As he glared at her for the cameras! A pause, and she would respond, “In my life, I preferred to have children, not abort them. But based on my review of Roe v Wade, though I strongly disagree with abortion except for extreme cases like saving the life of the mother. I believe that individual states, not the entire country should determine whether they want to have legal abortions. Morally, abortion is reprehensible. Since Roe v Wade, about 60 million babies have been murdered legally. Morally, the law is perhaps the worst since Dred Scot legalized slavery. But from my legal POV, under our Constitution, states should have the right to decide this question. It should not be mandated as a right without states having their say. And certainly not one dime of tax payer money should ever be diverted to abortion mills like Planned Parenthood simply by saying Planned Parenthood is about women’s health.”
So, to Mitt, Lisa, and Susan, I implore you – do the right thing. The moral thing. Vote with your party. As it stands, there are probably an equal number of people who consider themselves pro-life as pro-abortion (choice is an absurd Machiavellian term to couch the issue). Most people do not side with the democrats and their unlimited third trimester and even to birth legal abortions. Sane people call that last one – murder, not pro-choice. Vote with the majority of US citizens who do not believe in unlimited abortions like the Democrats. The Democrats – the party of Slavery, the party of death. Today as in Lincoln’s day, Democrats are on the wrong side of history and morality.
