Sometimes not taking a case is tantamount to making a really bad decision. No Dred Scott v Sanford. No Plessy v Ferguson. No Roe v Wade. Just ignore and hope the issue goes away. This time it’s allowing biological boys to call themselves girls and freely use girl’s rest rooms. Today, this inaction by the court sided with the insanity of gender identity and the crazies who think gender is a choice. It is not. Sorry, but sex is binary. You are male or female. For the very tiny fraction of biological mutations that are called hermaphrodites, I honestly feel for them like I would any freak of nature. In reality, there are no real hermaphrodites, but pseudohermaphrodites with both male and female sex organs. But that’s not what we are dealing with here. We are dealing with insane people pushing an insane notion. Biology is really quite clear, even if politically correct and insane people aren’t. There is no good to come from letting biological boys with a penis enter a girl’s bathroom. There is no good to come from chopping off body parts or pumping children with hormones. Those who conduct such experiments are clearly guilty of child abuse. There is no good to come from biological males calling themselves girls being allowed to compete against females in sporting events and win all the events. For decades women fought for the right to participate in sports and now this absurdity is allowed to destroy everything these women fought for.
And the sad part is that this may be the prelude to perhaps an even bigger fail if SCOTUS fails to seriously examine the 2020 election fiasco. If the same forces of insanity and evil are given a pass due to the court’s failure to take a controversial stand, it may indeed mean that the entire American experiment may be coming to an unceremonious end. Not with a bang but with a whimper. But that whimper won’t last that long. Because physics tells us that nature abhors a vacuum and for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. There will be a reaction. That reaction will in all likelihood be a really big bang when the inaction of the court and bad court decisions leads to elections where half the country or more no longer trusts the outcome, and thus, a divided nation begins to tear itself apart. When half the people no longer trust the system, what else is left but civil discord, civil war.
Note: on Dec 17, I found this video which backs up my claim that Roberts and the other lefties on the Court failed to act out of moral cowardice. Sure enough, the Tech Tyrants at Twitter took down the video as of Dec 23. For some reason it’s still on my youtube channel at billfoxsoapbox. I guess once I have 100 or so visitors they’ll probably take it down. I know that not taking up a supreme court case is not quite in the same league as turning a blind eye to a Holocaust, but the principle of cowardice is the same. The video described how one of SCOTUS’ staffers heard Roberts yell that they weren’t going to review the case, despite Bush v Gore. “There weren’t riots then” was Robert’s lame excuse.
