Equity is not equality. And equality is meaningless if it forces “equal outcomes”. The only “equality” that ever made sense is equal opportunity. And if Government has a purpose, it is to promote equal opportunity. But that is no longer a foundational principal of the illiberal left and the socialists who now inhabit, dare I say, infest the Democrat Party.
Let’s face it, socialism is and always has been a bad idea when writ large. Much of America and indeed most of the West is steeped in socialist policies even while they claim to be a Capitalist system. And without an honest Justice system, we now have an ever dwindling system of free trade, but rather a system run by Oligarchs and Monopolists – on Wall Street (Robinhood fiasco), Tech Tyrants, Media Oligarchs. The operative word for the year 2020 and beyond is “rigged”. Yes, my friends, it is clear the system is corrupt and rigged. Not just the farce of a Presidential election, but the entire system.
But I digress. Let’s discuss socialism in healthcare. For example, before Obamacare about half of the medical insurance services in this country were supplied by the government: VA for veterans, Medicare for elderly, and Medicaid for the poor. The balance in the system came with about the other half the country being able to get medical insurance through their employers. But with the influx of millions of illegals, the illiberal left (mistakenly called “liberals”) kept pushing the lie that millions of Americans were uninsured. Well, only those citizens who were illegal or too stupid or mentally infirm to apply for Medicaid. Virtually, anyone who shows up at an emergency room gets world class treatment. But the pimps and whores don’t want a system where there’s freedom of choice – unless, they’re free to murder babies in the womb that is. They want control. So, following Marx and other socialist thought leaders, they want Universal health care. They want everyone to have health care – you know, like they do in Cuba. Of course, you’ll be lucky to find toilet paper in a Cuban hospital, or it might take weeks or months to see a specialist, not to worry, if you have a hangnail, a nurse Practioner will be right there with her pliers and WD-40.
So, Biden’s latest joke on America is a black female by the name of Marcia Fudge. No, she’s not head dessert chef at the White House. No, she is the nominee to replace Dr. Ben Carson in HUD. No, I am not making up that name. I’ll let others do jokes. But let’s face it, going from a genius Brain surgeon like Dr. Carson to a brain-dead lefty is like going from Beethoven to Milli Vanilli. But this is what happens when the illiberal left takes over your government.
In a senate hearing with Tom Cotton (R) Arkansas: Cotton asked Fudge, “Okay, so racial equality means treating everyone the same, correct?” to which she agreed, adding that the “same” is “not always fair.”
“So just to be clear then, it sounds like racial equity means treating people differently based on their race. Is that correct?” he asked.
“Not based on race, but it could be based on economics. It could be based on the history of discrimination that has existed for a long time,” she said. “It could be based on educational levels. It could be based on many things, not necessarily just race.”
Let’s translate. It is ALL about the color of your skin, because there is not one dirt poor white person in Appalachia who would ever qualify under her definition of “equity”. Equity means we are now judging you by the color of your skin, not by the dictum of MLK – “the content of your character”. Who cares if you are a crack head, drug addict or whore. It’s systematic racism that caused you to choose drugs over going to school. And if you and your parents failed economically, the government is going to balance the scales. If you are not very bright and did not achieve beyond an elementary grade level education, that’s OK because the government will compensate for your ignorance and stupidity. After all, your ignorance, stupidity has nothing to do with your genetic potential, or the fact that you don’t have a two-parent family, your father is a crack head and your mother is a drunk and whore, not to worry. We will take money from those white supremacists who work for a living and pay taxes and make it really equal. Equity!
