I called it! Once Elon, may I call you Elon, Mr. Musk? Once Mr. Musk put together a consortium of free speech billionaires to buy Twitter, I knew that as soon as he did his due diligence to find out how many REAL users there were on the site, things would go south. Today, they did. He pulled out. Yes, one of the comments I saw on Yahoo – was making a joke about the fact that pulling out is new to him – since he’s got about 10 or 11 kids, who knows? Baby mamas keep popping up everywhere! It reminded me of the controversial Groucho Marx joke when he hosted You Bet Your Life. Yes, only a few baby boomers will remember the original show (hear they are doing a new version – but trust me, whoever they choose to host won’t have Groucho’s wit.) One of the contestants was bragging about the fact that she or he had 10 or 12 kids (there’s both versions that have been reported. One version a male the other a female contestant. Number of kids changes – but it was a large number) – Groucho responded: “Well, I love my cigar, but I take it out once in a while!” As it turns out, there’s no evidence Groucho actually said this either on his Radio or TV show, but it does sound like something he’d say.
Anyway, the reality is that Twitter is not really an honest public forum. It is a political forum for the very wealthy and influential – primarily on the Left – or why would they ban a Republican POTUS but allow all sorts of Dictators and Globalists on the left? If the site was actually politically neutral and allowed free speech, Twitter stock would sky rocket. They wouldn’t just appeal to half the population. That was what the Rocket Scientist saw when he put together his bid. Musk is not just Rocket Scientist on a path to put people on Mars with SpaceX, but he’s a very savvy businessman. After all, he is the richest man in the world.
But now that it appears that perhaps half the users on Twitter are actually bots and not existent, which means that the company is not worth anywhere near the asking price. What Musk did was shine a light on how corrupt the company is and he has done a service to the market. Though those politicians, left wing dictatorships and globalists Twitter supported, well, they won’t be happy – but those who believe in free speech and the correct valuation of a company will be. Today Tesla stock went up and Tweety bird took a hit. I guess the market has some insight into who’s going to benefit after this law suit is settled. Even if a corrupt judge forces Musk to pay a billion or so to compensate for backing out of the deal – Tweety Bird will never recover from this until they actually become a politically neutral site that actually believes in free speech. Since that won’t happen. I’d say, Tweety’s stock is in for a major bruising.
