Hope this title had you scratching your head. If you said tax evasion – ding, ding, ding – you win the cupie doll!
One was a country western popular song writer and singer. One was a criminal and gangster. And one was a political prisoner of the Uniparty. Because the singer was loveable and the Uniparty couldn’t get any traction putting Nelson in jail or god forbid, auctioning off his guitar “Trigger”, he got a pass. No jail time for Willie. It would be bad press. They reduced the amount he owed to a mere $6 mil – a fraction of what he actually owed. He paid it off with the “IRS Tapes” album that was knocked off in a few days, not very good – but it paid for what the IRS assessed.
As many of you who’ve followed the case of Al Capone, he had managed to cover his bootlegging booze, murders, crimes against humanity for years. It seems the good guys just could not bring down the most infamous gangster of all time. It was making the FBI and J Edgar look bad. But finally the one and only Elliot Ness and an accountant in the back room found the Achilles heel of ole’ Scarface – tax evasion! And yes, finally convicted, ole’ Scarface became one of the more famous inmates of the former Military Prison, then a Federal Prison – Alcatraz. Well, now in 2022 it’s just a tourist spot, but in 1931 it was where really bad dudes like Capone landed. Oh, and though it was dark and dank on the inside, there were some very nice panoramic views of San Francisco a mere mile and half away. But because the water is extremely cold with massive flood and ebb tides and rumors of sharks – supposedly no one ever escaped. Of course, don’t tell the folks in Aquatic Park’s swimming and boating clubs, “Dolphins” and “South Enders” who swim from Alcatraz every year – that it can’t be done. I’m a life member of the Dolphin Club. Yes, I’ve done it 4 times! But I wouldn’t recommend it without some training and pilot boat nearby in case you get stuck in a heavy current or tide and can’t make it to land.
And now a tale of the political prisoner Paul Manafort. It is not clear that Mr. Manafort did anything that most of the lobbyists and politicians in D.C. do – they take money from foreign and domestic countries and businesses interested in influencing American policies. The issue for Manafort is he was a key campaign operative for the hated Orange Man – Donald J. Trump.
We know now, that this aging pawn of the Uniparty, Mueller, was given the task of proving that Trump was not a loyal American, that in fact he was a Russian spy. And to get the ball rolling Hillary Clinton and the DNC paid a British secret agent to come up with a “dossier” on the evils of the big bad orange man. The infamous “Pee dossier” is what they got. How horrible, hookers and “pee”. Tell me it ain’t so! Yes, it ain’t so. This document has been totally discredited. But it did enable the FBI with the likes of the famous lovers Page and Strzok to conspire to bring Trump down. The fake “dossier” was taken to a judge that gave the FBI the ability to spy on Trump and any of his allies. Sounds very Stalinist to me. “Show me the man, I’ll show you the crime!” Yes it was. Yes it is. In the end, it seems that Trump won – despite the overwhelming forces arrayed against him in the Media, Tech, and permanent bureaucratic State (FBI, CIA, IRS). Oh my! Now what would the Uniparty do? Unlike the Rino-esqe majority in the so-called Republican Party, the Dems and the Uniparty bosses didn’t just stop and say, Congrats – you won! Oh no, the inquisition had just begun.
First, the FBI targeted the one person, General Flynn – who with his 3 plus decades in DC, had a good idea where all the bodies were hidden. Couldn’t let that happen. So, they took him down first, by threating not just him, but his entire family. So, they got him to cop a plea to save his son. One key Trump ally down. Next, perhaps the most damning was the take down of Manafort. Well, Stone, also got pretty poor treatment, but Manafort’s multi-year sentence for “tax evasion” and having “relationships” with Ukraine and Russia – well, that was their justification for actually putting him in solitary confinement. No doubt Manafort would still be rotting in jail for at least a couple more years if it wasn’t for the Presidential pardon Trump was able to give.
I have a simple defense for Manafort and the rest of the Trump associates who have been targeted, perp walked, hand cuffed, and embarrassed in public simply because they helped him become President. With the Laptop from hell, and actual testimony from a Navy veteran Bobulinsky, we now know that Joe “the Big Guy” was getting 10% of the graft from Ukraine, Russia and China. Unlike the questionable issues surrounding taxes paid by Manafort – we actually have real evidence of treason in the Biden crime family. Why is America sending billions in military aid to Ukraine prolonging a war that could be ended with the simple acknowledgment that the EU and NATO will not seek to have Ukraine become a member? The answer is self evident: The Military Industrial Complex needs this war now that they’re not dropping bombs in Iraq or Afghanistan.
And if you’re a popular singer and harmless dope smoker, you get a pass too. But the Uniparty is powerful. Their Military Industrial Complex, their control of Big Tech and Big Media, have made it impossible to get a fair accounting of the actual treason being conducted right now as Biden and his Uniparty masters send billions to Ukraine to maintain an unnecessary war with Russia. But you must give the Uniparty their due. They have made Putin the bad guy by threatening to make Ukraine a NATO ally and member of the EU – and given Russian history – that was a bridge too far for Putin. And all Putin needed was America’s Green New deal scam – which now pushed the price of a barrel of oil from $30 to over $100 – giving Putin all the cash he needed to wage his war to keep Ukraine from breaking away from Mother Russia no matter how many toothless sanctions were leveled against them. But with the propaganda from the Uniparty’s Big Tech and Media – all the optics are on their side. But someday, if we have honest chroniclers of all the events – the trail of corruption that took out Trump will come to light. Will Trump come back in 2024? Possible, but years taken away and endless harassments Trump and his allies have endured will go down in history as one of the darkest moments in American history. And though Trump has done a great service by shining a light on the fact that America no longer really has a two party system and the news we get is “fake”, it seems unlikely the swamp and the Uniparty will go away anytime soon.
