Once again, I read an Orwellian take on Free Speech from another NeoCon globalist David French published in Verizon’s Yahoo via Time. When he is not pushing sending your kids to join in endless wars at the National Review, he’s writing leftist propaganda for the NY Slimes. My he’s a real switch hitter! Why do I mention Verizon? Because the free speech French is advocating for is only reserved for Big Tech and Big Media. Verizon Yahoo, like AT&T CNN, it fits that bill as a twofer. Actually, a threefer. Time Warner is in the mix as well. He does state correctly that the Progressive Left, what I more accurately label the illiberal left, is all in for Censorship, whereas Conservatives are not for Censorship. That should give Conservatives a score in the plus column for free speech – right? Well, no. Censorship is good if Big Tech does it, but not if Conservatives or you or I do what THEY call censorship. And the reality, regulating an out of control Monopoly is not censorship of free speech. It actually, protects us from Monopolists and Oligarchs who stifle speech they don’t like. We used to have a justice dept that handled little things like out of control Monopolies and Oligarchs limiting competition and the free flow of ideas. But they are no where to be found in this country in 2021.
So, when Justice Clarence Thomas, one of two justices left on the Supreme Court who is NOT a moral coward, weighs in on the subject that Tech and the Media might need to be regulated, out comes the knives. “It’s an ominous signal” says the headline. Now this is where a good Harvard lawyer twists words into a pretzel. Thomas is STILL advocating for free speech. But as soon as the concept that perhaps Big Tech and Big Media might need to be regulated, well That to Mr. Haavad slip and fall lawyer, that is censorship. Censorship is only reserved for the Big Guys in Tech and Media and Govt. But regulation of an out of control Monopoly and Oligarchs conspiring to limit our speech – that is verboten. Imagine, if Big Tech and the Silicon Valley Billionaires were not able to censor conservative speech as well as make sure that no one outside of Fox News and a few talk shows had any idea that JoeBama’s crack head son was making millions – and JoeBama himself was getting a cut – that would mean JoeBama himself was guilty of corruption and graft. Why Trump might have been able to get reelected. Imagine if Don Jr was doing the same thing. What would the never Trumpers in Big Tech have done? He’d have been crucified nonstop. Instead, the entire Big Tech and Media Oligarchs censored this story right before the election, and even now, they are letting JoeBama’s crackhead son push a narrative that doesn’t come close to matching what’s been found on the laptop or the incriminating testimony of the business associate. JoeBama himself is guilty of graft and has been paid off from countries like Communist China, Ukraine and others. Everyone knows Hunter’s a crackhead, and the Media sycophant’s are letting that tidbit out…smoking the cheese from the carpet – that image still makes my stomach turn. But the real story, the graft, corruption that JoeBama himself participated in. Nowhere to be found. Censored.
What is Thomas guilty of? He noted that legislatures should weigh in the way Big Tech has censored people, the way Tech literally can ban people from their sites to push their leftwing globalist political agenda. Perhaps, Big Tech should have limits on how they can ban speech on their platforms. And as we’ve seen by their ability to literally conspire like a monopolistic “interlocking directorate” – Amazon, Apple, Twitter literally de-platformed the only competitor to Twitter –Parler. If this doesn’t have monopolistic anti-Trust implications, then what does? They have the power to censor anyone. Yes, even the President. If you hate big bad Orange man, censorship good. If you want JoeBama to win, the fact that there is strong evidence in an incriminating laptop owned by Hunter as well as a business partner of the Crackhead son who testified on Tucker’s show and elsewhere that “big man” JoeBama himself was partaking in the graft of pay to play, telling that story is verboten. And we have more dirt that Hunter lied about his drug use when he acquired a gun permit. And this revelation comes out as JoeBama is pushing the illiberal left’s favorite attack on Conservatives and Freedom – to limit our 2nd Amendment right to bear arms. If we had equal justice under the law, Hunter would be in jail for committing a felony of lying about his drug habit to get a gun permit. But we don’t live in a just society. The Big Tech, Big Media, Big Govt Special Interests now control everything. I’m sure there will be more attacks on Thomas for showing moral courage. Don’t expect Trump’s new appointees to stand up for justice in the Supreme Court. No doubt, they’ve seen what happens when you step out of line. And Roberts, they definitely have the dirty pictures from his visits to the sex trafficker Epstein’s Island. We have 2 Supreme Court judges willing to confront these evil forces – Thomas and Alito. That’s about all that’s left – putting their fingers in the damn that’s about to explode – a country on the precipice of a one-party tyranny and the anarchy that will inevitably follow.
