I used to think Pat Buchanan was someone worth listening to or reading. Not anymore. I even bought a couple of his books. But he’s stuck somewhere between senile and stupid. Not sure which one of those things is responsible for his lame apology for JoeBama’s debacle in Afghanistan where thousands of Americans are still at risk, where 13 American soldiers were killed by a suicide bomber and nearly 100 were killed and dozens maimed. Probably both combined with the fact that he’s become rather old news on the Talk circuit and this must be a way to make him relevant to Commie News Network or as Mark Levin calls the that other Marxist network “MSLSD”.
Buchanan said in an article posted on TownHall:
“Even if the end result of a withdrawal is that Afghanistan falls to the Taliban, the cause is not worth a continuance of the U.S. commitment or the blood and treasure that four presidents have invested.
Better to accept a U.S. defeat and humiliation than re-commit to a war that is inevitably going to be lost.”
I am happy that we’re finally getting out of Afghanistan, this endless useless war, but don’t tell me we had to do it this way. In fact, there is a very good chance that the Military Industrial Complex and their Ruling Class decision makers are very pleased about this recent suicide bombing. Buchanan thinks that JoeBama will stick to his guns and meet the absurd Aug 31 deadline to withdraw, but already he’s sent in drone strikes to show that he will “hunt down those who killed those Marines” just like Hussein Obama who used drones to his dirty work rather than offer real solutions. Problem is, you target some wacky offshoot of ISIS, but the real reason that suicide bomber was able to do his evil deed was because Biden or should I say Hussein Obama’s team, in their haste to meet this absurd arbitrary deadline, screwed up and the Taliban was allowed to control who came and went from the airport. Oops, I guess the Taliban Biden negotiated with allowed this terrorist in. So for me, if you’re going to send a drone to kill one lone ISIS terrorist, you still need to off a few thousand Taliban to make the score almost even. Update, the lame media now says he killed two ISIS terrorists! Well, that will settle the score alright! No, not even close.
So, I see the drum beat to have more drone strikes and if things really start going south and public opinion really starts to eat at not just JoeBama but the entire Democrat Globalist Communist Chinese Supporting Party – he may be ordered to send troops back in. No, there is no way to put a positive spin on this debacle, but somehow Buchanan gave it a try. Leads me to believe that like that scumbag, Trump hating Bolton, he’s sucking up to some media hacks on the other side for no doubt personal or monetary gain and to be relevant again.
Buchanan also said:
“Hundreds of Americans are going to be left behind, along with scores of thousands of Afghan allies who worked with our military or contributed to the cause of crushing the Taliban. And many of those Afghans are going to pay the price of having cast their lot with the Americans.
After Aug. 31, the fate of those left behind will be determined by the Taliban, and we will be made witness to the fate the Taliban imposes.
This generation is about to learn what it means to lose a war.”
These endless wars indeed need to end, but that does not mean that you exit leaving thousands of Americans and allies to fend for themselves. That is utter bullshit. Right now, there are still thousands of Americans in Afghanistan. It’s not that THIS Generation is going to learn what losing in Viet Nam was like, what they should be learning is that there is a Military Industrial Complex and now, not just a few Hawks from both parties are for these endless wars, but literally, the entire Media, Tech Tyrants and perhaps the Chicoms are responsible for the complete cluster FUCK of this operation. Generals should be court martialed. JoeBama’s entire cabinet and advisors should be summarily fired. JoeBama himself should resign in humiliation or be impeached. Since none of that is going to happen, perhaps real patriots will rise up. Well, the one brave Colonel who rose up and complained publicly was fired. That’s military justice don’t you know. So, does the coming revolution end in a bang or a whimper? We shall soon find out.
Buchanan cannot possibly believe the bullshit that Biden had any sort of justification for the way he has handled this exit from Afghanistan. It really is not that complicated. Before any of the troops leave, get all of our civilians out. Then leave. And if you can save those who have been allies, do your best to VET and save those Afghans. Biden and his incompetent bunch of Obama hacks botched this operation big time. The only issue for me is did they do it on purpose or are they really that incompetent. I’m leaning toward both explanations as being true. Yes, these people are bought and sold by the Chicoms and the Military Industrial Complex Ruling Class – and many are also Marxist indoctrinated incompetent boobs.
