I read on my favorite TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) site yahoo.com where a person disagreed when Trump said he has been the most abused president since Lincoln. Actually, he has. In most ways, more. For one thing, unlike Lincoln who shut down those papers who disagreed with him, Trump has done nothing to stop the press from their anti-Trump bias and nonstop ranting – ignoring his accomplishments while jumping on anything they can to stoke hatred from their left-wing and globalist base. But the more the “Democrat Party Press”, as Mark Levin calls them, spouts their lies and innuendos, the more it solidifies the Trump base. The comment ended by stating the Lincoln unified the country and Trump has divided it. Well the jury is out about Trump, but I have my doubts that the hundred years of racial discord after the Civil War would be classified as a “united” America. It is doubtful that anyone can put this Humpty Dumpty egg of a country back together again.
The fact is this country has been even MORE divided since the Viet Nam war and the pain and trauma of ending segregation and the tumultuous Civil Rights movement. So, don’t tell me that this country was ever truly united except perhaps during a few years after the attack on Pearl Harbor and WWII. Even during the Revolutionary War, only about a third of the colonists fought and died. A third were loyal to the tyrant king. Another third could care less or were cowards. You can say pretty much the same for today. In recent history, for maybe a nanosecond during 9-11 Dems and Repubs stopped bashing each other, but when we had the hanging chads decide the 2000 election and another election where the leftist coasts gave Hillary the popular vote but Trump won the heartland and more states and the electoral college – do not tell me we are not a divided country.
The media is biased and filled with Trump derangement Syndrome – TDS for short. I admire the fact that he takes them all on and for the most part wins. And if there is an upside to the China Wuhan Plague, it is that the media, the globalists, the WHO, the WTO, and even the CDC are shown to be nothing more than political organizations that are many things – but one thing is sure – they are not for the average American or for the bill of rights or freedom. The media now is owned by a few conglomerates, globalists and China – the REAL existential enemy of America and the world. The media is not a friend of the average American. Trump is. That’s why he’ll win more states and the electoral college despite the brainwashed drugged out fools on the coasts who will vote for sleepy creepy hair sniffing vagina fingering corrupt Joe – Trump will be reelected and get us out of this hole that the globalists and China have dug for us. Sadly though, Humpty Dumpty USA will never really be put back together again. The sad fact is that despite its strengths and unifying heritage of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights – America never was really that united since only about a third of this country has ever been real patriots. Most people are followers and only a few of us are independent. Being in the minority is not necessarily a bad thing. When I am in my optimistic mood, I tend to think that that might be a good thing since I ascribe to the Groucho Marx dictum that I would never join a club that would have me as a member.
