No scientist, but he does have a BA in Government from Wesleyan. That should make him an authority – just rehash the propaganda from the UN pukes who want to tax the US and Europe while not actually holding the 3 billion or so people in China, India or the nearly 3 billion not located in the US and Europe accountable. You see, this to me, appears to be little more than a Globalist Marxist ploy to turn most of the US and European citizens into relatively poor serfs, while giving China and the Third World a pass and essentially redistributing wealth – the goal of every Globalist or Marxist tyrant.
Well, the good news is that most actual scientists that are not funded by the UN or the Climate Change Global Warming Sky is Falling cabal are not convinced by the data or the track record of their dire warnings. These people have no shame. They’ve been lying, making predictions that flat out don’t come true, but they still spew the same rhetoric, the same scare tactics, all with the obvious end game to put the Oil industry out of business and get everyone eating Vegan and riding the bus. Everyone but the elites like Oprah, Michelle, Barack or Muppet face Kerry – they ride petrochemical spewing private airplanes. They’re special. Haven’t quite perfected solar panels for jets yet! Sound familiar? They’ve been pushing the same lies and garbage for 50 years!
I’m sure there were 200 plus scientists funded by various far left/Globalist interest groups that want to convince you to give up your SUV, stop eating meat (yes, methane emitted from cows is right up there with Green House gases we must curtail – not just oil and petrochemicals).
Of course, essentially all the progress made in developed countries are a direct result of the Energy we derive – in very large part from petrochemicals – but that can all change if we all drive Teslas. Of course, you can’t just flip the switch. We still have a coal and gas powered grid that supplies the energy for the electricity that powers that Tesla. But don’t bother with that bit of news. And don’t bother wondering how you can afford to buy $100,000 or even a $50,000 electric cars when the economy is in free fall and inflation makes your dollars start resembling Deutsche Marks during the Weimar Republic. Simple really. Solar and wind power cannot nearly replace the energy we need to keep our economy moving and thriving. That’s the point. That’s what the Ruling Class, the Marxists and Globalists want.
Interesting YouTube from a “Climate Change guy in Europe” – Michael Shellenberger – Ted/Danubia – essentially making the argument that the only truly efficient energy source today is Nuclear. Made some very compelling comparisons between France that is essentially energy independent and relies on Nuclear Power, versus California and Germany which pay literally twice as much and in California’s case – with large solar farms in the desert – has created catastrophic results for desert animals. I agree that Wind Farms and Solar Farms are a bad idea if you actually care about wildlife and the environment, but I still hold out a net positive view for Residential and Commercial solar that uses local battery back up and can use that local solar power to charge vehicles – rather than relying on unreliable and deadly solar farms.
One theory on why Putin decided to invade Ukraine you won’t hear from the NY Times or Washington Post: oil and natural gas. Germany while pushing their version of the green new deal still had to rely on natural gas from Putin’s Russia. While Trump and other evil meat eaters and oil supporters pushed to close down that Russian pipeline to the EU and Germany in particular – the good Putin haters in Germany still got most of their energy from Russia. After all, not going to manufacture those Mercedes or Audis or BMWs with Solar energy. As Shellenberger so eloquently explained, Solar and Wind farms are just too inefficient, expensive, and deadly. At the same time they were poking the Russian bear Putin telling him they were encouraging the Oligarchs in Ukraine to join NATO. Gee, what could go wrong? Yes, and then in the US, with *Biden supporting the Russia-German pipeline, he made sure to stop the Keystone Pipeline and stop drilling and essentially his executive orders were responsible for taking the US from energy independence to dependent on let’s see: Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Venezuela. Lovely. So, a direct result of all of this stupidity, Russia, it’s economy a one trick pony oil producer, had a barrel of oil go from $30 or so when Trump made the US energy independent to today oil topping $100 targeting $150 or so! Nice. Funding Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. Not to worry, so a few million Ukrainians had to flee the country. Thousand dead and injured. The main thing is that we must get rid of oil in the West, ride busses and don’t eat meat. In Russia, China and the elite in the third world, they’ll be driving around in gas powered cars and having an occasional steak when they can’t afford their caviar. Thanks Climate Activists.
