No more Dilbert. Say it ain’t so. Yep, neighbor, Dilbert is done. RIP. Scott Adams, made the cardinal sin of speaking his mind. Nope. Can’t do that if your livelihood depends on thousands of left leaning newspapers printing your award winning cartoons. Like Rosanne – it doesn’t matter if you’ve got the most popular cartoon ever made or you have the #1 show on ABC/Disney – if you dare speak against the Uniparty party line – you are done. Kaput. Bread line for you, bud.
Well, what crime did he commit exactly. Was it indeed racist to say what he said? Maybe. But so what? Do we have a 1st amendment to protect speech that everyone agrees with? Nope. The 1st amendment was put there exactly to protect unpopular speech. Yes, even Nazis get to march or speak. And our SCOTUS has authorized America haters to burn our flag. But actually say something like, perhaps one race should stay away from another race where statistically about half of them distrust or dislike you? If you say that all white people are white supremacists – that’s OK. But if you site a poll where almost half of all blacks dislike or distrust whites – not OK.
There have been many schools both at the University level and now even elementary schools that encourage segregation. But that is OK if you are BiPoc – Black, indigenous person of color. Not OK if you’re a white Cartoonist siting statistics about how half of Blacks polled said it was “Not OK to be White”. So, Adams siting this poll, lost it and went on his rant. Here is a report from a group called Parents Defending Education:
We filed a civil rights complaint after Washington State’s Olympia School District created racially discriminatory 4th and 5th grade affinity groups. The district is using taxpayer funds to separate students by race during school hours, and we won’t stand for that.
This is what Adams said in his youTube rant that got him cancelled:
On his YouTube show on Wednesday, Feb. 22, Adams cited a survey that found nearly half of Black people do not agree with the statement, “It’s okay to be white…Based on the current way things are going, the best advice I would give to white people is to get the hell away from Black people. Just get the fuck away,” Adams said. “Wherever you have to go, just get away. Because there’s no fixing this. This can’t be fixed. So I don’t think it makes any sense as a white citizen of America to try to help Black citizens anymore. It doesn’t make sense. There’s no longer a rational impulse. So I’m going to back off on being helpful to Black America because it doesn’t seem like it pays off.”
This is America in the 21st century. You folks on the left thought McCarthy was the evil guy who sent Commies in hiding and destroyed lives and livelihoods. How about a witch hunt that goes after over 60% of the Population – that sends white people into hiding? The kind of witch hunts that targets the most popular and successful Conservatives and using race as an excuse to stifle free speech. Naturally when they are successful censoring and cancelling the most famous among us, that serves as a warning to anyone else who dares to argue against the existing Uniparty tyrannical position. Because in the end, this has very little to do with stopping racism. Everything they are doing labeling all white people – i.e., Trump voting Americans – about half the population – as White supremacists (except those Woke Democrats who are now in almost complete control of virtually all the instrumentalities of Govt, Media and Tech) is racist. Yes, the Uniparty without actual ideas and policies that benefit the average American, have reverted to that tried and true tyrants trick of creating racial discord – labeling one group as bad – and in this case over half of the American population. No wonder the poll that Adams sited had Blacks having such distrust for ALL white people.
Where does this endless censoring and cancelling of free speech lead us? Do most people simply cower in the corner or does it get bad enough when people can’t take it any more that some act. Some of them no doubt will take drugs, become alcoholics and give up. Or perhaps some of them will buy guns – especially the ones the Uniparty is trying to ban and instead of just being guilty of “mass trespassing” on our Capitol, the millions of guns that formerly law biding citizens have for self defense start to be used for more than simple self defense. This can’t end well.
