My beautiful partner of nearly 40 years has a Persian girl friend who is married to a very bright lawyer who got his credential from Stanford (#1 Law School 2025 US News and World Report – I know the east coast folks think Harvard, Yale – and for DC politics – yeah, but if you want the best law school, you go to Stanford!). This was his second marriage to a much younger very vibrant woman who has become a leading social figure in San Francisco in spite of the fact that she’s not exactly old guard white bread. Times change. A couple of decades ago, most Homosexual social types in San Francisco got married and played the game – in order to get invited to all the right parties and charity events on the rubber chicken circuit. But today these successful Gay boys are out of the closet and when they need a female companion there is always some gal – either a divorcee or widow able to step in if necessary and in most cases showing up with their male partner is no longer frowned upon by the social elite. Times change.
You might ask – what has the Persian Princess and the change in the Gay Community and Social Status have anything to do with my discussion of the demise of white males (and most males) in America? Times have changed – some things I suppose for the better – being more accepting of our Gay friends – and some things – not so good. Well, our our Stanford Lawyer and his Persian Princess had twins and are the perfect example of what’s happening in the world of boys versus girls in America in 2025 – and it’s not so good. You see, the twins are fraternal. One boy. One girl. They both have essentially the same IQ, same high school accomplishments, both near perfect grade point averages. She easily got into Stanford. He did not.
And since I retired from the tech world about seven or so years ago and started substitute teaching K-12 grades, I noticed that from Kindergarten to High School – boys – particularly white boys – have been stifled by the absurd claim of “toxic masculinity” and girls and minorities have jumped the line. So, the vast majority of college acceptances to Stanford and Ivy league schools are female. In this case, I met the young man at a dinner party – truly an exceptional young man I would be proud to claim as my own! He had no sour grapes about not getting accepted to Stanford – though he had to feel that there was something wrong about how so few white males were accepted and why his twin sister with the same grades and test scores got in but he did not. But not to be deterred by a corrupt system, he with the help of his brilliant mother found a very interesting school in Colorado – where he’s learning about mining (where real money is made) – and his passion for rocketry. My guess is, though his sister is pre-Med and given the great genes she got from both parents – will no doubt make a fine doctor – probably brain surgeon – but who knows? As for the young man – I suspect he may end up working for NASA or SpaceX or making a fortune in the mining industry – and will be alright. After all, at some point actual ability, not just a credential, will save many of these Gen Zers – the “Lost Generation” of the 21st Century. Yes, hat tip to VDH (Victor Davis Hanson – Stanford Hoover scholar for those of you from Rio Linda – hat tip to Rush…) who made that comparison first.
But this destruction of young males who have been indoctrinated to feel inferior, to be afraid to actually show that they have testosterone – has left an entire generation to more or less give up on the traditional American path to family, home ownership and children. No wonder these Gen Zers voted for a Marxist Hamas loving huckster promising “equity” – “affordability” – even Gen Zers whose relatives of their great grand parents may have been slaughtered in the Holocaust.
The problem that Trump and America first movement has is not just fixing a corrupt failing economy, border crisis, and healthcare system, but correcting an Education Indoctrination system that has ruined the lives of an entire generation that may never recover. How this gets turned around is anyone’s guess. VDH had a few suggestions, but I doubt any of them will happen any faster than it takes an Aircraft Carrier to turn around as measured in years not minutes. How do you fix this lost generation? Some with real talent will find their way, but sadly a large number of young males will be lost – and I have nothing – no solution that will sugar coat what has been done to them.
