If you listen to Hannity or others in Fox nation, you will hear how great America is or was by defeating the Nazis and the Commies winning the cold war. Problem is, given the turn of events since Reagan left office, I’m not so sure. In fact, I am sure. We lost. What? How can that be? There is no more USSR. We are the lone super power, right? Well, no. There is Communist China. Not just on the rise, but on the path to surpass America economically and eventually that will mean militarily as well. Historically, it always did. Become a debtor nation. At some point you will bend the knee to your economically stronger advisory. Let’s face it. At the start of WWII, Germany was stronger militarily and focused. They were Spartans and Americans were for the most part shop keepers and farmers. I know, we had the “Greatest Generation” to heed the call and do their duty. Not to diminish their sacrifice, but we won a two-front war with two nukes on one side and Russian cannon fodder on the other. And in the end, our blessing of having two large oceans to prevent easy attack on our soil, and the ability of our economy to pump out countless bombs and planes. Eventually, between Russians sacrificing millions of lives on the Eastern front and Americans supplying allies on the Western front, the Nazis were simply worn down.
Yes, we with the help of lots of Russian cannon fodder, some Brits, a few others, we defeated the Nazis. But it is not so clear that we’ve ended the Communist menace. And yes, Marxism is a menace. Mass murder, starvation and destruction is its legacy. Stalin’s millions dead in gulags. Ten million Ukrainians starved to death. Some say Hitler was the greatest mass murderer or villain in history. Nahh. Mao is easily the greatest mass murderer of all time. 50 to 80 million Chinese were starved to death in the great leap forward. And we have Pol Pot wiping out millions and about 25% of Cambodia’s population. And then there’s the little pikers like Castro who only murdered about 15 thousand or so, but showed the world that a tiny Communist country could enslave its population just 90 miles from America. Thumb its nose at the US for generations, and the great America could do very little other than look like fools with a failed Bay of Pigs invasion.
And with the help of the Rino and Globalist Bushes, Clintons, and Hussein Obama, America is to quote Thomas Sewell, on the path of “no return”. After more than a half century fighting Commies after WWII, we all assumed that Stalin and the Soviets were our enemy. And that we needed simply do what we had to do win the so-called “Cold War”. But of course, the 38,000 dead Americans in Korea or 56,000 dead in Vietnam, might disagree with the notion that it was just a “cold war”. But the war directed against the USSR divided up the planet. The Ruling Class of Commie haters in the West in the US on one side, and the The Communist Russians, their satellites in Eastern Europe, the Red Chinese and their allies in the Pacific Rim, and socialist Banana Republics in Central and South America on the other. America used the fear of Commies, the prospect of a nuclear war, to rev up what Eisenhower called the Military Industrial Complex. In Korea, we got our first endless war. It for the most part paused in a stalemate at the famous DMZ but technically we have not had a formal cease fire, but Vietnam did not end so well for America, at least not at first. The irony is that decades later, we have a pretty booming trade with Vietnam, not so much with the Chinese puppets in N. Korea.
So how did things go so horribly wrong after our supposed defeat of the evil Communists of the Soviet Union? In a word, corruption. It is always corrupt seditious traitors that bring down a great nation. As they say, it always rots from the inside and the head rots the first. The corruption in America was in part started by the Military Industrial Complex that gave us endless wars, debt and finally, that one supreme evil that will bring about America’s demise – Globalism. Globalism to many is not the enemy. It is the goal of intellectuals everywhere. For dreamers. For John Lennon. Imagine. Imagine there’s no country. I wonder if you can? I digress. But in the end a series of corrupt or inept leaders, take your pick, led us down this path.
The reality is that when the one beacon of light on a planet filled with tyrants and corruption loses its freedoms to Orwellian group think and the greed of the Globalists, soon it starts to flicker and go out. That is what is happening in America. I could extend this into a rather lengthy tome on how America sold out to Globalists and died a death like the Fall of the Roman Empire, but I am no Gibbon. I will not need to paint a mural when I can do it more succinctly with a miniature.
It is a simple story. Bill Clinton and his wife were very corrupt and evil people. They were amazingly ambitious and successful. It took a midget Texas billionaire and a Rino Bush to actually give them power, but you have to give Bill credit for having charisma in a field of democrats woefully lacking in anything the electorate wanted other than perhaps some minor political accomplishment in their state. Bill was a nobody in a tiny southern state. But the stars aligned for this evil man and his evil wife. The absolutists in the Republican party could not handle the outright lie coming from the mouth of Bush the elder. “Read my lips, no new taxes”, and like all empty headed politicians, he lied and thought he could get away with it, because one of his globalist scum advisors told him no one would notice. But billionaire munchkin Ross Perot noticed. And so did millions of conservative Americans. So, with a 3-way spit in the vote, some dirty pictures that had Perot drop out at the last minute, then jump back in just in time to lose Bush enough votes to give Clinton the win, America began its road to serfdom and destruction.
What did Clinton do that was so bad? Despite the fact that he got credit for a good economy – give that one to Gingrich and the Republican Congress – he set the stage for China, poor China, still reeling from the death and destruction of Mao’s reign of terror, entering the World Trade Organization. Clinton took loads of money from the Chinese Communists running for re-election. Of course, the globalists were on his side and somehow nothing came from it. Nothing to see here. But take today to compare. Billionaire Trump, takes relative pocket change to pay off a couple of women extorting money from him before his run for the presidency against Bill’s spouse, Hillary. Now that is a real campaign finance violation don’t you know!
Actually, the Chinese didn’t achieve their goal of entering the WTO until Bill left office, but fortunately, Bush 2 was a willing puppet of the globalists, and the Chinese became official members Dec 11, 2001, a few months after 9-11. We were a bit preoccupied with the attack. Who really noticed the one event that would ultimately bring America down? Sure, Islamic terrorists were a threat. They killed people. But they were easy to focus on. No one could really see that within one generation, China would surpass the great United States of America. And now, we are on the cusp of a great Civil War. Yes, this November election is just as important as the one that preceded our first Civil War. There is a slim chance that if Trump is reelected, Civil War and the end of the American experiment can be avoided or at least postponed. But all the forces of globalist evil have come home to roost: Socialists, Marxists in complete control of the Democrat Party. China sending strategic plagues to paralyze the West and destroy America’s economy. The Government Media Complex (Mike Savage’s term) playing their part as propagandists for the Democrats, Marxists and Globalists, becoming more important in many ways than the Military Industrial Complex. Fear and Race used successfully to bring America to its knees. What will be the outcome? I fear Biden, clearly the most inept person the Dems have ever nominated for President, plagiarist, congenital liar, and now clearly mentally deficient and senile, will win. The Sanders, AOC, Marxists and their Globalist allies will take control. They’re already half way there. Americans and the so-called “woke” and “cancel culture” have been silenced by fear, brainwashing and mass conformity. We’re so woke, most of the country is asleep. If Biden and the Marxists/Globalists win, America will have officially lost the Cold War and we will be not only on the road to serfdom, for all practical purposes, we will be there.
