Nicky Goldberg of the LA Times didn’t directly call Donald J. Trump Hitler or Stalin or Franco – but his “techniques are similar”. Got that. He’s not Hitler – he just acts like him. Sorry, this is what passes for journalism today. Bring up the Hitler card, but indirectly to make it sound more credible. So, what is Trump guilty of? He states that he believes there was massive voter fraud. Because of that, since Trump will not simply go away, he’s like Hitler or Stalin or Franco. Hmm. And as I’ve said before, you can be sure of one thing, when the illiberal left accuses a conservative of something, they are guilty of that very thing. So, this technique creates an “echo chamber” and 70% of Republicans believe the election was fraudulent. Of course, Nicky fails to mention that one poll had 60% of all Americans thinking there was rampant election fraud. Even most partisan Dems admit there was some, but “not enough to over turn the election”. Well, we don’t know that yet. Trumps legal team is presenting that evidence now as the clock is ticking. In about ten days, electors will be chosen and make their final vote.
If ever there was an “echo chamber” it is the media Trump calls fake. And I have to laugh when Nicky brings up Orwell or Pravda. If ever there is anything like Orwellian Group Think – it comes from the lockstep media – America’s version of the former Soviet Union’s “Pravda” or “Truth”. I don’t see many articles or opinion pieces in the Washington Post, NY Times, LA Times, ABCNBCMSNBCCBS – that have virtually any positive or other points of view than the Democrat, Globalist, Socialist pro-Communist China one.
I’m pretty sure Goldberg is a very Jewish name and since I’m Jewish I’m quite familiar with sadly the vast majority of secular or reform Jews who like to bring up Hitler. But as someone who actually had relatives exterminated in Hitler’s gas chambers, when someone brings up that ghost, he’d better have some real evidence to compare to than just he’s exercising his Constitutional right to ask that the courts evaluate whether or not there was enough voter fraud to overturn this election.
And to top it off and make his argument sound more compelling Nicky boy had a nice quote from Hannah Arendt’s book on the origin of totalitarianism. Problem is that Nicky boy doesn’t have a clue that he’s right smack dab in the middle of his own totalitarian “Group Think”. From my point of view, the masses susceptible to propaganda are these poor indoctrinated elites who are brainwashed from the time they’re in state run schools, then from their Marxist anti-Capitalist professors in college, and now in their echo chamber of the LA Times. It would be nice if Nicky or any number of these smug lefties would be a bit more introspective and ask the same questions about their lock step globalist far left media – who is really spewing propaganda and inundated in Orwellian “groupthink”?
