Why can’t some people learn from history? Appeasing a dictatorship has never avoided a war. This is just another example. When Ukraine gave up its nukes in the 90s our part of the deal was to protect them. When Putin took Crimea Obama reneged on that promise. At least Biden sent them weapons. We should fully support them when they try to take back Crimea and the rest of their country.

How about you folks actually learn from USSR Ukrainian history specifically? Stalin had no problem starving millions of Ukrainians to death when their farmers refused to collectivize in the 1930s. Mini me Stalin has no problem killing Ukrainians to make sure that the richest and most populous of the independent former soviet states does not become a member of EU or NATO. The reality is that Zalensky is president of a one party dictatorship and not exactly the democratic state that the media hacks are telling us, and the only ones benefiting from this ongoing war is the Military Industrial Complex controlled Uniparty. Russia, Ukrainians, European and Americans are all being hurt or killed by this needless conflict. No telling how many Europeans will freeze to death because they picked a fight with the country that they depend on for the natural gas that keeps them warm in the winter. America is heading into a massive recession to compound the massive inflation – and in colder regions – Americans will have to choose between paying for very expensive heating oil and food. The Brits say 10,000 will freeze to death this year. Ironically we’re told global warming is bad, but it looks like global freezing is actually killing people this year!
