I guess if you’re really upset with the corrupt elections we now have you could move to France. The food is great. Love the sound of the language, and for the most part the French are reasonably polite until you butcher their language. To the topic at hand, France did away with Mail in Ballots in the 70s because they knew it was guaranteed to introduce voter fraud. That’s exactly why WE have so much of it. Our Uniparty no longer is afraid of the GOP or Conservatives. All the while they yell about saving Democracy – they are destroying it bit by bit by doing away with it. The illiberal left controls language and the fake media reinforces it.
Although, one could point to a thousand small cuts as the reason for the demise of the Constitution and our descent into a post Constitutional Banana Republic, the final nail in the coffin of the Constitution occurred when the Covid Scamdemic allowed those bureaucrats NOT in the State Legislatures to CHANGE election rules. The endless voting, vote harvesting, mail in ballots – are all rife with fraud. Voting that is NOT controlled by State Legislatures is what is actually unconstitutional – but the Media ignores, cancels anyone who happens to actually mention Article 1: Sec 4, Clause 1.
Article 1 : Section 4 Congress Clause 1 Elections Clause “The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof…” But any number of leftist legal “scholars” easily justify allowing massive changes that bypassed State Legislatures in order to get the Uniparty outcome they desire. They say “Covid”, “voter suppression”, “racism”, and “Jim Crow” and voila – we no longer have fair elections.
To make this job easier, the GOP is full of Rinos and those who’ve been bought and paid for by the Chinese and Big Tech. Both totalitarian by nature. A marriage made in hell.
I know a little bit about Tech and that part of the marriage made in hell. I worked in Tech for over three decades. Though most Techies in the age following IBM mainframes were not that different from most workers in any industry, the guys at the top who started to capitalize on the emerging Internet were a different breed. Some were really bright and some were just lucky, but the common denominator was they were virtually all infantile by nature, arrogant megalomaniacs vying to have the next great tech zillion dollar company. In a few words – they were greedy power mad maniacs.
The Internet laid the foundation for this Tech gold rush. By the late 90s I was interested in the holy grail of Communications – unifying voice and data over the same network. The focus at the time was on local area networks, mini computers and the emerging growth of PCs as large IBM mainframes began to die out. Cisco Systems (now just Cisco) by the late 90s was buying up dozens of companies while at the same time trying to develop their own products internally.
Not to toot my horn, but one of the many companies that Cisco Systems bought was the one where I had just landed a nice gig. This company was called Selsius Systems. I joined Selsius a few months before Cisco Systems bought them and I became a Cisco employee in 1998. Without going into great boring detail, this company, Selsius, in the basement of a good old fashioned PBX company, managed to figure out how to take a fairly unreliable Microsoft NT server and use IP protocols to communicate to a PBX phone. It was the first scalable IP PBX. Hence, the world now had voice and data running on the same network. A big deal at the time. And Cisco was in a hurry to capitalize on this acquisition. Their internal team was close, but they weren’t there with a phone and language (Voice over IP H.323) that could transmit voice calls over an IP data network. Our system, though primitive and not nearly as reliable as the analog PBXs that were around for decades, was the last key ingredient for Cisco to finally begin their vision of Voice, Video and Data on the same network. Well, at least voice and data were ready to begin testing in some of their larger corporate customers. In less than two years Cisco had turned this acquisition into a billion dollar money maker and growing. Cisco finally had a product that could sit on the desk on movies or TV shows where a strategically placed phone with Cisco logo could be there for the whole world to see – or at least that was the hope of the marketing folks who no doubt paid a pretty penny for product placement. No longer was Cisco hidden in the belly of the beast doing just the “plumbing” of the Internet with their routers and switches – they were there on most every Fortune 500 company’s desk for all to see!
In 1999 during the first year of the transition, we even had a Nokia wireless phone that talked to the PBX that Cisco called the “iPhone”. Yep, iPhone. About 6 years before Apple introduced theirs. By then, Cisco was willing to give Apple the name for a price. And that is the rest of the story as they say.
Cisco, one of the massive Borgs of the Internet in the late 80s and throughout the 90s, gobbled up most of their competition and by 1999 when I was there actually surpassed GE for a day or two as the most valuable company on the planet (in terms of Market Cap). As John Chambers, then CEO, would like to brag at company meetings – “We just want our unfair share of the market”. For about the entire decade of the 90s “Resistance was futile!” Sounded like a great idea if you were a worker bee seeing your stock portfolio balloon in value making you a newly minted paper millionaire, but it essentially sums up what crony socialist Monopolies strive for – and it ain’t free enterprise and sure ain’t democracy!
But like IBM before them, they stagnated and Apple with Jobs’ vision of the iPhone surpassed Cisco and not only became the only viable competitor to Gates’ Microsoft PC world, and has become one of the few trillion dollar companies on the planet. Apple in 2022 was worth about $2.6 Trillion! Amazon a bit under $1 Trillion. Microsoft $1.8 Trillion. Alphabet/Google – about $1.2 Trillion. Tesla was worth about $1 Trillion – but since Elon had the balls to buy Twitter and expose the corrupt Uniparty and their mass censorship of the opposition party, Tesla’s market cap now is about half that as Big Media and the Uniparty have gone into full on destroy Musk as they destroyed Trump and anyone who has the gall to actually tell the truth and stand up to their control and expose their censorship of the opposition. Interesting development with the implementation of the Green deal scam in the US and Europe, Aramco – Saudi Arabia Oil, is now worth $2.3 Trillion! America was energy independent and oil was $30 a barrel under big bad Orange man. Before Aramco went public in 2017, Forbes estimated that its market cap was estimated to be $500 B. Now both Russia and Saudi Arabia are benefiting with the new price at or near $100 a barrel as under Biden’s policies to end drilling and pipelines, America is no longer energy independent. I wonder if those billions of petro dollars now flowing into Moscow had anything to do with why Putin invaded Ukraine – despite all of those heavy sanctions from the West? But I digress. To put the size of these companies in perspective, of the 200 or so countries on the planet, only 18 have a gross domestic product over a trillion dollars! By the way, at the time I’m penning this, Cisco has a market cap of just under $200 billion – a mere fraction of size of Apple and the rest of the new MAGA – Microsoft, Apple, Google and Amazon.
The point here is that it only took two decades from the turn of the century to 2020 to have a few Tech companies (only Microsoft and Apple existed before 2000) and China to dominate the world. China in 1999 – their GDP was just a bit over $1 Trillion. Now their GDP with the help of American politicians’ graft and corruption – China stealing Intellectual Property on all fronts – but especially technology – they now have a GDP at or near parity with the US at $20 Trillion! Let that sink in. Neither Tech Giants nor China believes in anything remotely related to democracy. They were indeed a marriage made in hell. Though ultimately I do believe that Atlas as predicted by Ayn Rand will “shrug”, and the result will be a rather nasty dystopian halt for actual positive innovation. Though there will be progress, the innovations that will be coming out of China and Tech will be about controlling and subjugating the masses for the benefit of the elites – not furthering freedom and democracy and actual intellectual growth of society and humanity. Will John Galt, Elon Musk and his buddies save us? Probably not. Robots and AI will take over at some point anyway. Whether the remaining humans will be able to control them or not is a question no one can answer. Even our best sci-fi writers and movie moguls seem to give us nothing but a nasty dystopian future. Since I tend to be a cynic, I tend to see it the same way. So, I’ll just leave it at that.
Back to why an honest American can no longer live here in 2022 now moving into the New Year 2023. Elections are corrupt. The Govt is corrupt. The elected as well as the unelected lifetime bureaucrats are really corrupt! Just ask the 50 or so former CIA, FBI three letter members of the Uniparty that lied that Hunter’s infamous laptop was “Russian propaganda”. They lied and rather than being investigated for crimes, most are working for various Uniparty organizations and some are continuing to spew their lies on CNN and MSNBC – the most distrusted names in Cable News – and are prospering while anyone associated with Trump can expect to be perp walked at any time, and if you dare to speak out – you might end up with a year in solitary confinement like Paul Manafort for doing what both sides do daily in DC – lobby domestic and foreign governments for profit. But make sure that you only do it for the Uniparty or you too might end up perp walked, disgraced or even in solitary! Though Fox News is hardly the arbiter of all that is truly fair and balanced, they do have the guts to actually take on the Uniparty from time to time and I’m surprised that Tucker hasn’t been forced or intimidated off the air. Of course, that day is probably coming. Just a matter of time. Probably after the next stolen election in 2024.
Like the frogs boiled in a water with the fire turned up slowly, everything was on the right path for the Uniparty control of all the instrumentalities of government, but lockdowns and massive control by our Govt was unprecedented and things went south for America at warp speed. That allowed them to turn up the fire at full throttle! Lots of cooked frogs in America! (If you move to France, I hear they like the legs.)
And even now, if you actually mention where the plague came from, you are castigated as a racist. How dare you say what is factual and true – you must be a “conspiracy theorist” or MAGA Trump person? Very simply, the Wuhan plague came from China and evidence points to gain of function research at least partly funded by our Saint Fauci and his NIH grants. And now even the dimmest bulb in America has the knowledge that this virus didn’t come from a bat in a wet market.
Obviously, this plague was man made. Did it escape by accident or was it weaponized to do harm – to enhance the ruling class in China and the US? I vote that it was both by accident then weaponized for maximum benefit of the Ruling elite in China and the US. Occam’s razor would agree. The simplest explanation is usually the correct one. True, one can argue it is simpler to suggest that it was just a failure of a poorly run lab in Wuhan. But if the plague was an accident, you would think they would have done their best to minimize the harm. But the opposite of that is painfully true. It is altogether possible that it was an accident that both the Chinese govt and corrupt US politicians saw as a way to further their power and control. And if you are real cynic, you said the Chinese and corrupt elites in America weaponized this plague from the get go. I’d rather not go there, but that is definitely a possibility.
One thing has led to another and now America is no longer a land of the free and home of the brave. The second amendment and gun owners might save us at some point in the future, but I doubt it. The boomers who own most of the guns will die off, and confiscating the remaining threats shouldn’t be that difficult for the tyrants in charge as they turn this generation and the next into Woke gender confused wimps and cowards.
I would love to move to France, but I have a beautiful girlfriend, and for now, a secure home on a hill in the burbs, and I’m reaching the end of my golden years. Besides, France has some enclaves or no go zones with bad dudes from the third world, so it’s not that much safer in their cities than ours, and I’d have a tougher time defending myself with their gun laws. My 9mm may come in handy one day if I need to make one last stand, but like most things in life, mine will most likely go out with whimper, not a bang. At least that’s the plan.
